It may sound odd at first, but it starts inside of you, acknowledging your heart’s desires, seeking what is holding you back, and listening to your body. Everyone can make simple changes, and in time, single steps add up to a new way of looking at food, wellness, and even yourself.

In Iceland where I grew up, it’s common to see small stacks of stones called cairns placed along trails and nature paths. Cairns serve as guideposts to assure hikers that they’re moving in the right direction. When the stones are well balanced, the cairn is a stable, strong, enduring structure. The cairn is very meaningful to me; you’ll even see it stylized in my logo.
